Brewday is developed and published by MKZ Labs. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@mkzlabs.com.
Brewday does not collect, store, or transmit:
All recipes, batch log entries, brewday sessions, and settings are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud Drive sync (Settings → Cloud Sync), your data is synced via Apple's iCloud service directly from your device to your personal iCloud account. MKZ Labs has no access to your iCloud Drive.
Apple's iCloud privacy practices are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Brewday can send local notifications to alert you when a mash timer, boil timer, or hop addition is due. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and are never transmitted anywhere. Notification permission is optional — the app is fully functional without it.
Brewday does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. The app makes no network requests to any server controlled by MKZ Labs.
The only external services involved in the app's operation are Apple's App Store (for distribution) and optionally iCloud Drive (if you choose to use it), both governed by Apple's own privacy policies.
Brewday is intended for adults of legal drinking age. Because we collect no personal data, there is no risk of collecting information from minors.
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and note the change in the app's release notes. Given the nature of the app — no data collection, no accounts, no servers — significant changes are unlikely.
