Strong is a local-first app. Your workout data lives on your device and is never uploaded to any server, sold to third parties, or used for advertising. We don't have user accounts and we don't know who you are.
Strong collects no personal information. The only data stored is your workout history, program progress, and app settings — all saved locally on your device using your device's built-in storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly back up your phone via iCloud or iTunes.
If you choose to enable Apple Health integration, Strong will write workout summaries (exercise type, duration, and estimated calories) to the Apple Health app on your device. Strong never reads any data from Apple Health. Health integration is entirely optional and can be toggled off at any time in Settings. All Health data sharing is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
If you grant notification permissions, Strong will send local workout reminder notifications scheduled on your device. These notifications are generated locally — no notification data is transmitted to any server.
Strong does not include any third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, or crash reporting services. We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or usage statistics.
Strong is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you are under 13, please consult a parent or guardian before using this app.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
